I am seeing more, and more of this in one neighborhood, another problem is all if the houses are having water seepage under them. ![icon_surprised.gif](upload://57CELbNgOav4I8DdysEp4jSUiyx.gif)

Someday maybe builders will stop putting ducts in crawlspaces. Then maybe they will stop with the crawlspaces too. Slab house with ducts in attic is the only way to build for long term.

Bruce, my house has been sitting on a rock pier crawl space since 1870. Better built than most new ones I see.


I've seen lots of slab construction with plumbing in the attic because the original plumbing in concrete failed. Wouldn't trade mine for that.
