Hello everyone,

I was contacted by an E&O insurance co. today. They are called J.P. SVENDSEN AGENCY. Anyone heard of these guys?

Never heard of them, where are they located at and what type of E&O were they selling. They are not one of the big groups that normally are associated with E&O, such as FREA, Allen, and one other that the name slips my mind.

Did you see where they said except PA. Why would PA be excluded.

I still say you should check out State Farm for e&o and general liability. Saved me $$. Good coverage. Local agents. Cool refrigerator magnets.

Stuart, I agree IF State Farm will write it. So far, that I remember, you are the only person that I have heard of that State Farm has written a policy for.

Dave I had a talk with my state farm agent and he checked and came back with a reply that they might start in NY in MAY of this year.

Hi to all,

from what I understand State Farm will write E&O in some states but only for those people who have all their major insurances with them. That being said what is State Farm quoting for E&O ??

Regards

The only other insurance I had with State Farm prior to e&o and gen. liability was my auto policies for the last 20+ years. As far as my rates and coverages, on e&o: $500,000 Limit, $2,500 deductible-$1,440 annual premium. On general liability,(different policy), $500,000 Limit, $500 deductible-$420 annual premium. That includes coverage for my laptop and camera. I filled out the standard appllications, provided a copy of my pre-inspection agreement and off I went. I hope other HI’s can get with an agent and get similar quotes.

Can you get a hold of your Rep. I would like to talk to someone at corporate to possibly man a booth at the Convention.

Need and name and phone number if you can get it. Already have two major players on-line with us. It wont hurt to have more.

Paul, a rep in your area that is familiar with these products, and is a good guy too is Matt Kelly, 4118 NE Vivion Rd, Kansas City, MO 64119. 816-455-1955. matt.kelly.i8mg@statefarm.com. He spoke at the KC chapter meetin in March. I don’t know if any of the HI’s there have contacted him for a personal quote, but they should.
