E&O Insurance help

Question.

I am starting out as a new home inspector. I passed all.my training and passed the FL exam. I will be working with another home inspector under his business. My question is do I need to get my own E&O insurance or should I be covered under his?

You should be covered under his BUT ask him for a copy that name’s you as an insured, to be safe.

Do you like to sleep at night? The money put out for E&O insurance is nothing if you have a bad inspection, client.
The piece of mind is worth the expense.
