i inspected a house this weekend that had a beautiful new 200amp panel but i did find a “stand radio” in the attic from 1938. i love the old stuff, oh and btw, the radio still worked too. icon_cool.gif

Interesting.


Question is their a main disconnect? If not something should be done shouldn't their. Doesn't the full electrical service be able to be turned off with a max of 6 throws of the breakers or less??? I count 7 breakers.

Not trying to start a big discussion or anything.

This was not the service equipment, therefore, the "six throw" rule does not apply.

Actually, this one was in Brentwood (remember O.J.?). A multi-million dollar home with a view of Catalina Island. FPE service equipment and Zinsco distribution. . .
