Maybe I’m doing something wrong but writing a post I can not insert a BBCode or Smilie anywhere other than at the end of what I wrote. I can click back in my post and ad words but even if my cursor is back a sentence and I click on a BBCode or Smilie it ends up at the end of the post. Its very annoying.

Paul,

Just highlight the BBcode or smiley that you want to move by "left clicking" the area. Then "right click" this and "left click" cut . Then you place your cursor into the area you want your BBcode or smiley to appear by "left clicking" into the preferred area. Then "right click" and paste .

Very simple...Give it a shot here.

Paul, I see what you mean but here’s what you can do. You can pretty much go back anywhere in your post, and where ever your cursor is, you can click on a smiley, and that is where it will be placed. As far as codes, hopefully this will make sense. Lets say tou want to underline the second word of your post! Well if you place the cursor in front of that word and click on the box for underlining, it will go to the end of your whole post, however, if you just place the arrow on the box for underlining (mouseover), the code will appear just above the messagebox showing what brackets are used to make the code, follow so far? Now, just type [ u] before the word (or words) you want underlined then type [ /u] after the word(s), then that’s what will be underlined. Same goes for italics, bold, etc. That’s what I do, unless someone has an easier solution.

This spam-type posts are really anoying and are showing up in many of the threads. I like the “no censorship” policy that NACHI has but would allow exception for this kind of unrelated abuse. Lets get rid of these. icon_evil.gif

Hmmmm…

look at our "guest's" post subject (Top 20 Wealthiest Soccer clubs)???, lack of any profile at all, and no links in the second post. It's almost as if this got posted here by falling through some crack in the net rather than deliberate spamming. Of course...that's another thing to worry about! ![icon_eek.gif](upload://yuxgmvDDEGIQPAyP9sRnK0D0CCY.gif)

Oh well...it's about 95 here. Seattlelites are dropping like flies from the heat. I'm going to go fill up the kiddie pool I bought for my new puppy, Dudley, and go and sit in it with him.
