Electric Questrion

Good Afternoon,

I wanted to know if its acceptable or non acceptable for neutral and ground wires to share a bar?

http://www.inspectionnews.net/home_inspection/electrical-systems-home-inspection-and-commercial-inspection/7162-grounds-neutrals-under-common-lug.html

Depends if the Main Panel with disconnect or a separate distribution panel coming off the main panel.

Sharing a bar is OK if its service equipment.

Sharing not permitted in remote distribution panels fed from service equipment.

Neutrals(white) are always intended to be under their own screw individually.

Multiple grounds (bare) can be under a single screw.

I want him to work at it a little Mike.

Thanks for the quick response I just needed the assurance I wasn’t crazy.

Thanks again
