I recently moved into a home and within 5 days, lost power to half of my home. My electrician determined I needed a new breaker box due to corrosion behind the dead front and that my home inspector should have caught this during his inspection. My question is, are home inpectors in Pennsylvania required to check the wiring behind the panel?
