Again, you are very wrong! This hearing was not a criminal indictment or case brought by Trump. It was an appeal to the fine applied to his conviction. Trump’s conviction stands. The fine does not.

You are such a media puppet. Enjoy the show

That is such an uneducated but expected statement! The ruling came from a New York Appellate Court! Now they will most likely overturn the convictions as well due to the improprieties in the courtroom and the unconventional and biased jury instructions. But time will tell.

Don’t conflate Trump org civil suit with Trumps criminal suit.

I’ll be surprised if they overturn his convictions in his criminal trial. He was found guilty by a jury of his peers for falsifying business records, 34 counts. He could still go to prison.

The civil suit against Trump org for fraud may be overturned in the future, but for now the fraud charge stays.

The only thing going away as of now is the $500M fine that was levied against his company, which is being appealed. Regardless of what happens with the fine, it could be reduced or go completely away, the charges remain, and it still bans Trump and his two eldest sons from serving in corporate leadership for the foreseeable future.

In New York, but not in other states or across the sea.The judge in the criminal case, according to many legal experts, gave improper instructions and interpretations to the jury. This is why it is thought that those 34 counts will be overturned on appeal.

There is some SERIOUS de-programming needed among a segment of the population thanks to Op Mockingbird mass psychosis.

Trump used the term lawfare as a rallying cry,

Sorry for the edit all. My first post was inaccurate.

Trump invented lawfare.

Wow, and he shot himself in the ear? WAFI

Just wait until the case for “Jury tampering” begins!!
Gee, I wonder who will be involved?

WAFI !!!

Speaking of grownups. One of the Judges who sided with Trump on the fine reversal has this position:

Another judge, David Friedman, was alone in arguing that the case should be dismissed entirely and never have been brought in the first place.

He questioned James’ motivation for suing Trump and whether, under state law, she even had the authority to bring him to court over private business transactions when none of the parties involved complained about being duped.

“Plainly, her ultimate goal was not ‘market hygiene’ … but political hygiene, ending with the derailment of President Trump’s political career and the destruction of his real estate business,” Friedman wrote.

Oh yeah, for the record, Trump gets his $175 million bond money returned.

Oh, the irony! Democratic “lawfare” helped get Trump elected. The results were better and further reaching than any campaign dollars he could of spent. Democrats are blinded by their own obsession!

That is comical… How many in that jury were former presidents! :joy:

The state must also pay the accrued interest on that $175M bond money that was held by the state! Ouch for New York!
