Nonmember status is the way to go, my friend. As a nonmember, I am able to access the highly entertaining Members Mostly section for free. In fact, the same member benefits that don't exist for NACHI members, don't exist for me either.
The same search engines that don't direct work to members, don't direct work to me either.
Additional perks: I save $289 a year and I'm not lumped in with a bunch of Sweathogs in the eyes of consumers and my peers.
GOOD ONE ..... ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif)
Isnt it amazing what smoke and mirrors can produce??

I’m just glad that I don’t know what it’s like to have to explain how it feels to have had a 20 year head start in the home inspection association race… and lose.
As for mousepads, the chosen few are the members that choose to do it. Nothing to do with us other than we subsidize them.
As for Russel Ray... I agree, his participation in our marketing forum is worth $20,000.00 a year to our members.
As for buying out NAHI and closing them down... USInspect beat me to it (albeit figuratively) when they bribed NAHI to permit them to, in turn, bribe REALTORs. Disgusting! I'm pleased that Civil Justice filed a public complaint under the Consumer Fraud Act against them in Prince Georges County, MD for all to see. And can you believe there are NACHI bashers on other message boards complaining about NACHI's spelling mistakes! ![icon_biggrin.gif](upload://iKNGSw3qcRIEmXySa8gItY6Gczg.gif) What hypocrits, hipocrytes, hipocrites... whatever.
Anyway, thanks for reminding me about the benefits link ... I'll try to use it more. Although I'm becoming partial to this new one I recently discovered...

Roy,
Just as long as they keep coming back and adding to the web hits...that's all we ask. ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif) when they start slowing down we get a little controversy going back and forth just to get the numbers up.
Hey, what is it with this Canadian female impersonator named Elaine. Does he dress like her and sing in those private nightclubs, too? This guy is about as creepy as that Jim Morrison dude. Maybe they can get together and form an all woman rock band or something.

This has nothing to do with being content and happy
with what NACHI is doing for your business. Good for you. It has to do
with a web page that is full of false propoganda to attract the unknowing
with wallets in hand. NACHI fishing trips? That's a good one. Free ADR service that costs $90. HMMM let me see...FREE = $90. OK I get it now.
So I ask you again can you please tell me what and where is it better.
Why do you continue to just ramble. You obviously like something about
NACHI or why would you keep coming back to tell us how bad it is .
Why are you nay sayers so memorized with NACHI when it is so bad.
Are you trying to convert us if so what to.

So Elaine runs a “chicken ranch”? I can picture her all saddled up like Dale Evans and driving a herd of chickens across the plains to fresh pasture. Yes, sir…cooking a pot of beans over a fire and singing cowgirl songs.
And then, riding up in a cloud of dust comes Calamity Jimmy Morrison with her flaxen hair blowing behind her. "Elaine!!! Hurry!!! One of the chickens has been rustled by that evil man - Pancho Gromicko."
Elaine puts down her plate of beans, breaks wind, and rides side-saddle along with Calamity Jimmy as they embark on their journey to catch the evil chicken rustler red-handed.
Stay tuned for tomorrow's episode: Will Calamity and Elaine find Pancho before he does harm to their bird, or will they actually help him choke his chicken? ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif)

… and access to participation in it is a heck of a nice benefit I think.
As for http://www.nachi.org/benefits.htm I see you are having trouble with its shear size. I get this impression by your complaints being limited to one false one and one that is clearly distorted. When someone complains (like you have done) about something (and this goes for any type of complaint about anything).... one must make sure the complaint is both true and substantial...otherwise one actually praises it indirectly and this praise is the best kind. Sort of like a potential home buyer complaining "Yeah, its a big, beautiful home in perfect condition on a gorgeous lot with a built in pool...but there was a 3/8th inch scratch on the inside of one of the bedroom closet doors." ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif)
The inspector in torn apart in the TV report didn't pass NACHI's exam. In fact he flunked it twice. He did pass the NHIE though and is a full member of ASHI... so much for the NHIE! ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif)
Funnier yet, hold on... ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif) I'm laughing so hard I can't type ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif) he was a PHIC mentor that charged other inspectors to learn how to do it wrong. ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif)

This may be of interest in regards to Nachi online test, et cetera, and identity of person taking the online exam. You can even cheat with your drivers license.

Little Nicky,
I am weeping because of laughing so hard that a TV reporter with NO background in construction, home inspection, or related experience can pass the test. Even the help of a commercial maintenance person is laughable. Even a maintenance person (i.e. glorified janitor) has ZERO experience in the home inspection industry. Yet, they are now NACHI certified home inspectors! Quote from Marty Griffin himself: “Would you like me to inspect your home?” The answer is NO.
So, it proved that:
A: It is way too easy of an exam.
B: Passing it means absolutely nothing.
C: Unproctored exams are proven to be useless.
This has nothing to do with PHIC, it's just your lame attempt, as usual, to divert attention away from the real issues that plague NACHI.
Now, maybe you can find one of your own egg scrapers for that face of yours, Nick. ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif)
