Exterior grade parallam question

I have been seeing quite a few of these recently. An exterior grade parrallam is used as support for an exterior second floor deck. The decorative column that supports it from below is wrapped in cultured stone, and the mortar from the cultured stone is in direct contact with the parrallam, no flashing. Not just the bottom of the parrallam, but extending all the way up the sides. Are exterior grade parrallams able to come in direct contact with mortar?

Thanks for any input.

If they are listed for that application, yes.
