I am currently a interNACHI member and stydying to become a home inspector in Canada. Would it be beneficial for me to take the certificate of compantcy for safty codes, as well as getting my certificate for commercial property inspector?
You need to master Residential Inspections before even attempting Commercial Inspecting.
Also, you need help with your English! Your Inspection Report is what your Clients will be paying you for. It needs to be precise and CORRECT! Personally, I don’t care if this is “just a MB”… you should always be practicing your wordsmithing!

Codes are covered in Home Inspection Standards.

Commercial property (in the US) is covered by other standards.
Home Inspections are for 4 res units or less.
