I met this Joe Ferry when I was 27 years old. We were both giving blood at the Red Cross Center in Philadelphia. The Red Cross volunteer looked at my donor card and exclaimed “Joe Ferry? That guy’s name is Joe Ferry!!”

His father and my father were born about 3 miles apart in Ireland. If we are less than third-cousins, I’d be surprised.

Ditto with Bryan Ferry, the Irish rock star. There are several pix of him where he and I look like identical twins. A very strong resemblance.
