Thanks for the link. The NACHI Foundation’s Safe House Campaign will be kicking off a new project On October 1, 2004. We will be announcing all the details publicly at the Mid-Atlantic Life Safety Seminar in late September at a lunchtime press conference.
The project will help educate homeowners on the importance of smoke alarms. Even in this day, out of a yearly total of 400,000 fires, 200,000 had NO alarms. We will also be offering free alarms to anyone in need. They can be requested by concerned parties for others. We will announce more as soon as we can finallize a deal with a corporate partner we are in talks with.
