Well since it was a gas unit the damper should’ve been blocked open. In this case, it was…
because the copper pipe wouldn’t allow it close!
Besides that it was very difficult to operate…

Wll Bruce since the copper gas piping was also serving as the damper stop I really don’t understand what all the fuss is about.

Seems like value added engineering to me
