Mr. Gromicko,

Applicants who are certified by your organization and have passed a proctored exam will meet the requirements for grandfathering. The Department will not enforce unlicensed activity until July 1, 2011. This should allow anyone doing business as a home inspector to come into compliance with the new licensing requirements. They are able to continue working until then.

The application for provider and courses are now on our website at https://www.myfloridalicense.com/int…oardid=04&SID= which can be downloaded and sent in for consideration. Now is the time to apply and pay the appropriate fees. Please see the application for instructions.
