Hi Everyone. I just spent the past few months doing all of the pre licensing courses for Florida. Among many other additional courses. But I have a question. I just scheduled my proctored exam today but shortly after, I read online that other people experienced questions on the exam that were not covered in the pre licensing courses. (WDO and termite) to be exact. Is this true? Can anyone shed some light on this for me? I’m a bit worried now. Thanks.
Hi Francis,
Try posting your query on the Florida specific part of our forum here:
Yes, but to what extent is unknown.
So, moral is, know your stuff, as it might come up.
Example:
Q: “Can a Home Inspector in Florida perform WDO/WDI inspections?”
A: (And your answer to this question would be…?)
Good example, JJ.
In Florida you must be a licensed Pest Control agent to fill out a W.D.O. Report. You can get certified but you still can’t legally fill out the report unless you are a licensed Pest Control agent!
Not sure about now, but when I took it (over 10 years ago) the questions from the Nachi material and the Nachi version of the test were very similar. Take the Nachi practice exam over and over until you are very proficient. You should be fine.
It sounds like you are asking if there are questions on the exam on WDO/termites. The answer is yes, there are several questions about WDO on the exam. I would suggest taking the WDO class thats what i did.
