Yes, get certifified (IICRC-CleanTrust) in water, applied structural drying and AMRT. This will give you the best foundation and training available. If you learn about the science of water and moisture, you will be most effective and competent in regard to mold. Water and moisture are huge issues in home and mold inspection. Most professionals don’t understand it as well as they think they do. I know this first hand through my own experiences. Do yourself a favor and go to Kurt Bolden"s place in Indiana.
