After seeing this hole, buyer asked, “but did you turn it on to see it work?” No. No I did not. Keep in mind this crawl space was open to the basement. Don’t people realize CO is a real thing?

Something doesn’t make sense here, You have what looks like new framing, a new metalbestos chimney, and a rotted out single wall C vent. They must have installed a new chimney and attached the old rotted out vent to the chimney. Who is maintaining this furnace?

Rain cap was missing. Was an inspection for a sale. All smoke detectors and CO detectors were removed from the home because “they kept going off”
