Foundation crack and issues

Thanks for the explanation. That’s scary stuff!

You know what they say “crap happens”! It didn’t phase him since it was covered and his Wife was very, very well off! He is a laid back and funny guy.

What was even scarier is what happened to the Wife’s Koi pond after they moved in.

They post tensioned the koi pond? And the koi became flying fish?

Well since you asked no not that. The Wife wanted a Koi pond and he did not but acquiesced. The Wife didn’t want just any Koi but imported $500 apiece Koi. He did not but acquiesced. One morning he came in to work in a very jolly mood. Apparently a flock of Heron came in an enjoyed a $6,000.00 breakfast at the Koi Pond Diner! We were right there with him rolling on the floor in laughter!

BTW he called it scarier than the foundation incident. I won’t say why since it would not be nice!

A netting is installed here for that reason. Makes me wonder how come nobody figured that out when $500 fish was involved

Simon, you recommend installation of heron nettings in New York to protect koi? In a report?

Yes but no matter how high you might be able to place it any netting detracts from the ponds aesthetics. Instead you put a very small sign out that says “No Trepassing By Herons Allowed”.

No, he’s not an inspector…
