The NACHI Foundation is pleased to announce the creation of our Good Samaritan Award, as well as the first recipients of the award. The NACHI Foundation proudly names National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI) members Eddie Keaton, David Keough, and Mike Zwerin as recipients of The NACHI Foundation?s Good Samaritan Award.
Eddie, David, and Mike are awarded this honor in recognition of exceptional dedication and commitment to their communities through humanity, warmth, kindness, and good deeds during Hurricane Charley. These three gentlemen were chose from nominees for their actions that far exceeded anything asked of them. Before the storm had even passed they were mobilizing to help others recover, even in the face of their own losses. These gentlemen, and future recipients, will receive a plaque along with a graphic seal that is under construction which can be placed on their websites, business cards, brochures, etc.
Please join the NACHI Foundation in thanking these three individuals for their efforts above and beyond the call of duty. The NACHI Foundation also thanks those who also gave of their time to help others in the face of this storm that began a long, trying time for many in the south. While we can?t recognize every single person, your efforts are a great help to your communities.
If you would like to nominate any individuals in the future please email their name, location, and a description of a specific incident for which you are nominating them to goodsamaritan@nachifoundation.org. The nominee?s actions should directly relate to the mission statement of the NACHI Foundation.
