Conflict avoidance and resolution requires skills that must be learned, developed, and continuously refined. Enrollment in the course includes an electronic copy of the book “Caught in the Crossfire - A Home Inspector’s Guide to Conflict Avoidance and Resolution” by George Wells, MBA, CMI.
George Wells, author of the 1992 book “Conflict and Labor Unions” has been involved in conflict resolution for more than 25 years. It is a big help to me and to everyone when participants help each other with technical difficulties. I have had requests for help with turning off MSN and AOL pop-up blockers. I do not use AOL or MSN so I can’t help. If anyone uses either of these systems as your web browser and can help others, I am sure they will appreciate your help.
Continuing Education Hours
You must log in using your real first and last name and you must complete the registration form at http://www.bestinspectors.net/education/ to qualify for your continuing education hours.
Some of you are members of organizations other than the four sponsoring organizations. We will have your records so your organizations may give you credit for the course. One of the reasons for tightening up the registration and auditing is to ensure the quality and integrity of the classes. I am hopeful that other organizations will recognize our efforts and yours and allow you to use the credits.
I will give you a code during the class to use when logging your continuing education hours.
This has nothing to do with the class but I am excited about it so I am going to mention it.
We are changing the name of the BestInspectors.Net “Find an Inspector Directory” to InspectorGuide.com. It will remain attached to the BestInspectors.Net for now but will eventually be moved to its own server.
We are going to be spending big bucks promoting the directory in Google, Yahoo, and MSN. If you are not already in the directory, you will want to be in it. It is one of the busiest free inspector directories on the Internet.
Take care, George
