First is the main disconnect

Second is a Zinsco panel in a closet

Third is a Sylvania in a garage

Fourth is another Sylvania in a crawlspace 20 feet from the last one

Fifth, and finally, the last Sylvania in another garage 60 feet from the others

What is wrong with the first three pictures?

The last two are obvious..... cabling improperly connected, open holes larger than 1/4" and open panel fronts.

Maybe I'm still asleep.

Bob P.

Also I'll bet none of them are labled....I always seem to write that up

Hi Bob,

I had briefly looked at the exterior main disconnect on my way into the house. Inside (the place was not completed from a project started years before) I found lots of receptacles without covers, lights dangling from wires, no GFCI anywhere and other stuff that would suggest that a licensed electrician should take a look.

The panel in the closet had neutrals and grounds connected at the lower portion - didn’t seem right with the main located outside - probably need to have this looked at. Also two wires connected to a 15 amp breaker. Anyway, after finding this situation, I get to the garages and crawlspace to find three more panels, all Sylvania. Two without covers, one with.

There were so many cables (not supported properly) that I did not try to sort any of it out. Just a weird Friday inspection!

Some times we do get into overwhelming situations.

I guess it looked like a monster house that was abonded during the show.......
