Garage Floor Pitch

Was looking for some advise on if there are any codes or generally accepted practices on the pitch of a garage floor for draining. I have new construction in Connecticut, with a 3-car garage. There are several “spider” cracks running throughout, I told that?s normal. However this winter, I noticed the melted snow not draining towards the outside doors, instead, the water flows towards the side walkout exit door causing one to walk through a mud puddle. Looking for suggestions or code to present to builder.

Here in WI a floor has two choices…by code it has to pitch toward a drain or pitch toward a garage overhead door. I know that doesn’t help you where you are.

How old is the house? Brand new?

Thanks for such a speedy reply Kevin. Yes, the house is new (1yr) This issue was brought up on my one year review with the builder, He seemed to indicate the will not correct, or that there was nothing he could do if he wanted to.
