Governor Newsome blows $24 billion on increasing homelessness and doesn't know where the money is

Interestingly, we have to consider refugee camps inside our own country as a result of the tyranny inflicted upon the average American by the elites residing in the hills of CA. (this includes lawmakers and Silicone Valley)

In the article, President-Elect Trump stated the following:

He vowed to ‘ban urban camping’ and create ‘tent cities’ on ‘inexpensive land’ for homeless people that will be staffed with doctors and social workers to help people address systemic problems.

We all know the money gets laundered back to the politicians. How else could they become millionaires? He’s just warming up for the big leagues AKA Fed-Ukraine laundromat.

At least the $24 billion was lost in California and not Ukraine. Local politicians should be taken care of at home. You know what they say: “Buy local and fraud local.”

The bright side of the criminal enterprise, I like your optimism.

There are a few issues that make this difficult. One, many of the homeless do not want to be “doctored” or cured. They will refuse to live somewhere that will not allow them to partake in their habits. They will refuse to live in a location that does not provide easy access to dealers who sell them their drugs. We see it all the time here in MN. Many of the homeless refuse to go to shelters that have rules about drug use.

And building a tent city on “inexpensive land” kinda screams “build a tent city in a poorer neighborhood.” That is probably not going to go over well at the local municipality meeting. You could build it in the desert, but good luck getting anyone to come out there. “If you build it, they will come” does not work in this case.

I know it won’t work. It is a Trump idea.

Let’s keep doing what we have been doing all along. Housing illegal immigrants and pooping on our citizens and veterans while the politicians enrich themselves at our expense. Let’s continue to support policies for the greedy, egomaniacal, narcissistic ruling class, which includes Pelosi, Schiff, Newsom, and their local-level proteges.

The top 12 all have one thing in common. Alaska is the exception.

This utopian idea of re-locating all of the homeless people to this big fabulous tent city on inexpensive land (read, poor area) and providing a large staff of doctors and social workers who will fix all their problems? I mean, can’t see any problems with that I guess. Lots of details to work out. For now it is just a Trump sound bite, not really a plan. Let’s see what he does with it. I already expressed my specific concerns a few posts above.

It says I need an account to view it. What do they have in common?

Given the headline most likely all democrat run. :man_shrugging:

That would imply the homeless in this country move to blue states because they know they will get better care and support. Alaska might be the exception because it is harder for them to leave.

That’s rich, you got some special rose colored glasses.

If what you say is the case, again, I can’t confirm because I don’t have an account, what do you think is the reason? Weather probably plays a role, but that doesn’t explain Alaska. Although I think much of Alaska is warmer than MN, LOL.

The majority of D cities have gone to crap. CA is a good example of what D policy does.

Ryan, try looking at it through these glasses. It will change your world in a very weird way…

So you are saying these homeless people are all locals, and are a result of failed government policies that caused them to be homeless and addicted to drugs?

No, you are saying that, probably has a lot of truth there though.
