Great source for "off-beat" HTML colors

For those of you who know what a “HEX” color is in an HTML Web page, you’ll appreciate this. The following link will take you a site that offers hex codes to hundreds of colors outside the realm of the usual 256-color “HTML-safe” color chart.

Go here: http://www.december.com/html/spec/color0.html

When you get the page, you can switch between hues by clicking on the links in the box titled “THE HEX HUB”.

For those of you who don’t know what a hex color code is; these are the codes that control the colors of your Web pages, fonts, border colors for tables, and horizontal rules.

If you know how to change your own hex colors, then you’ll love this site. If you have a “web guy” who can do it for you, then this site presents them with a very quick reference to unusual or uncommon colors.
