I have never seen this before. This pipe runs from the hose bib directly under the pool decking into the pool to add water.
Allowable grounding for a pool this way? I’m guessing no. Haven’t see a deck like this before either.
I think they are not grounding the pool but bonding the pipe since it’s directly connected. I have seen decks up to pools and it’s usually ok as long as there is another way out of the pool.
