I purchased an E4 from Amazon on June,1 2017. It was upgraded a couple of days later and has been flawless ever since. As far as voiding the warranty goes. The risk to reward was worth it. The only additional expense was replacing a battery in late 2022.

Recieved today. It works. I like the different hot / cold spots. Its refesh rate is good. It re calibrates every minute or 2, click click. They are open about it. Ill update after a few inspection. This is how I add my images to the reports. Faster then downloading and adding it.

That’s not me. I retired and closed shop on August 10, 2019. I still have my hacked e4. The guy I bought it from was a college professor. He even put my logo on the start up screen in place of the Flir. I will see if I can find his information.
