I ran across a panel that had three what looked like GFCI 15 amp breakers in it and they were marked for bedroom and bath, looking closer they were marked HACR type. I know these type breakers are normally for HVAC equipment. Is using them in this type of application okay? I wrote it up, I like to say I would rather call it out and be wrong than to let it go and be right.:neutral:
Over the past few years all small circuit breakers are HacR type. It became part of the UL listing for certain types of CB’s to have this included in their manufacture.
