No retaining clips on the 30a, no bushing on the knockout and the “tap” needs to be in a raceway.


I am also curious about the grounding as a whole. The pictures are not making it clear how they are grounding the panels.


Professional help is in order.

The panel was once used for "House lighting" it's a multi unit building.

The ground you see at the top goes to an unused meter in a bank of 6.

The whole complex was an electrical nightmare, recommended evaluation of entire system.

The breaker feeds this BBQ vent and lite.


And yes, the shroud is 120v to ground. ![icon_eek.gif](upload://yuxgmvDDEGIQPAyP9sRnK0D0CCY.gif)

You can see in the pic where the shroud is cutting into the NM cable.
Scary stuff.
