Heat Concerns Trip Up New GFCI Requirement in 2020 NEC
Just my opinion but this is a horrible code change. The HVAC industry has said that their current manufacturing standards does not allow them to make a unit that will operate on a 5ma trip GFCI device. This should have been given a future compliance date where the manufacturers would be given time to change the equipment to meet the standard.
That would have been the logical way to implement a new code Robert.
