I am unemployed currently.
I have an inspection coming.
Due to lack of emplyment finances to get state licensure exam are gone.
Could some one take the inspection and allow me to come with.
I am lost and honestly hurt by this.
You scheduled an inspection before being licensed?
Nobody will be able to help you without knowing where you are located.

Hopefully your upcoming client has not signed any paperwork with you. Best case, you have a referral to offer to a licensed inspector. Maybe they will allow you to attend, maybe not.

Specifically I only said i could help them look.
With that being said, I wanted to do it.
It didnt work out. No fraud commited. Just stinks.

If this is a paid inspection it is fraud. If you’re helping out and not getting paid that’s a different matter. Best of luck to you getting your business up and running.

Generally, if you are not getting paid and not acting as an official home inspector, but as a knowledgeable friend or relative without a written report, then most states do not restrict you from looking a home over as a favor to a friend or relative.

What an interesting approach if you’re a new inspector looking to gain experience.
Reach out to inspectors in your area and offer to bring them paid jobs if they bring you along to gain experience.
