The gas company has tagged out without shutting off gas. presumably for this line. This was not by me but in the presence of myself and the seller’s contractor who is calling bs.

“Bonding” and “protection from physical damage” required (in most jurisdictions)!!
That is a huge presumption. A call to the service provider would clear things up (if the reason is not listed on the lock-out tag which is the norm in my area).
Not presumable. In my opinion, should not have placed tag then leave operational. They came back and removed the tag no issue
