Floor beams visible in the crawlspace had inadequate bearing support at the splice joints. Good building practice dictates that beams splice joints should properly rest upon supporting structures (piers). I recommend correction by a qualified contractor.

From the InterNACHI narratives:

“In the crawlspace, girders supporting floor joists were improperly supported at splices. This condition is a structural concern. The Inspector recommends correction by a qualified contractor.”

I thinks Kentons structural concern addition is muy importante in this instance. The other narrative sounds like just any other narrative found in a report. Buyers need to know significance.
