Started testing and inspecting foundations, soil, and structures in 1984 until 1992 in Houston,TX, Borger,TX and Seattle, WA.

1992 I was a carpenter for a local home builder

Attended the University of Wisconsin Stout with a major in Construction from 1993-1997.

Recruited out of College in 1997 as a Project Manager for a General Contractor and worked there until I quit in 2003.

Thought about home inspections for the past three years, so did research for awhile and then just decided to do it. Studied for a few months and took the NHIE exam and got my license in April 2004.

Now I’m just a struggling Home Inspector.

I’ve been a volunteer fireman for 2 years.

Secretary of my Retriever club.

I train Retrievers for hunting and Hunt tests as my hobby. When September rolls around, I’m either at work or in the woods or marsh hunting.

I’m a big John Wayne fan. Then I had a gunsmith install it for me after I tried myself and failed. I got it all apart… but putting it back together, well… let’s just say it was one of the few times in my adult life where I broke down and cried.

Anyway, I call the horse "NACHI" but her real name is "Ginger." She's a big spirited quarter horse.

So are you a "lefty," or was that just for the pose?

I thought those were the new Navy fatigues you are wearing. Until you explained what you did there.

I was a snipe on the USS America CV-66. Not sure if it's still around.

I really liked seeing the photographs. Good to put names to faces.

Keep going.
