I have looked at a lot of lights and have yet to find a LED light that will work for an inspector. LED’s are good at fill lighting such as for a headlamp but aren’t even close to a 3cell Maglite, Stinger XP or Surefire G2.


There are a number of vendors selling "high quality" LED flashlights on eBay and most of them are crap. Since we don't even have a picture of this vendors light, I will withhold my opinion of this product but you won't find me with plastic in hand ordering it!

There's a place for LED but the inspector's bag is not it.
