I have come up with a use for all off the golf clubs that languish in our garages and flea markets. I cut the offending club head off the shaft and Voila! handy 3-1/2 foot probe that
measures insulation thickness
measures joist dimensions
pushes aside insulation to enable a view of the sill
checks for brick ledges
checks for loose tiles (just thump the rubber handle on the tile, you'll hear aloose one.
Checks for rotten/ wdi destroyed wood structural members.
All for 50 cents a club or so.
