Hip Roof Wind Mitigation

Trying to get clarification on the hip roof calculation for Florida Wind Mitigation forms.

Everything is a hip roof on this house. I was just curious if you subtract out the front porch roof part, since it is “above” the roof line? But it is hip. There is three sections like this, two in the picture.

I was trained to not include an open porch like that.

So do not even include them into the perimeter at all? Or do not include them as hip roof?
