Hiring office assistant

Hello everyone…

I am interested in getting some help with putting my reports together.

I was thinking to pay per report. Does anyone else have assistants for this and if so, what do you pay? What are their responsibilities.

My assistant’s names are Samsung Note and Home Inspector Pro.

Between the two of them, they put together a pretty good report. Although it certainly time to train them right.

What exactly are they “putting together”?
Do you mean have someone type your reports?
If so, I can’t see how you would transcribe the detail for each item in any time friendly fashion. You’re the one who saw the defect, so it’s faster to just type them yourself.

Do you use report software of any kind?


I have an assistant that uses a note 4 and HIP. I inspect, my assistant takes photos, enters captions and arrows/ circles. Just started this full time last month, and ironing out the wrinkles, but working out great!! When my assistant was part time, it has become very handy to take photos and enter captions on one device and if time does not permit entering the descriptions while onsite, using the summary on one device while entering descriptions on another device and then merging the inspections.
