Got an email from Home Binder. They claim they have partnered with
InterNachi and give a $50 gift certificate. Just wondering if anyone
has signed up with them and what you think.

Step one: Google “Home Binder”
Step two: When there is NO mention of them on page 1, or 2, or 3… RUN
Step three: Learn to recognize all the scumball companies looking to separate you from your $$$
Step four: Understand that when someone says “Partnered with…” they are typically a scumball company trying to separate you from your $$$
Step five: As a newbie, you are being singled out and targeted by scumball companies looking to separate you from your $$$

FYI, I have no knowledge of that company (other than seeing other inspectors ask questions about them), but I believe they spell it “HomeBinder”, and it is listed on my Google search.

Other than that, as Jeffrey stated, due your due diligence, lots of vendors want a piece of the pie.
