When I am doing my reports and putting pictures or adding comments the computer or my software will freeze up or stop and I have to slow down. Is this my computer or possibly my home gauge program. I am still using 5.0

You should update no matter.
Have you restarted your computer lately? Some people forget too and after a while your computer needs to reboot to clean old memory.
Is your computer years old? Is it low on hard drive storage? Windows 7 or higher?
