You must be one of Slimas’s cronies.
You have got to be the biggest loser that has past the MB in a long time.
Just because you think you can post someone elses art makes you special.NOT
Grow up and grow b alls.

Is this your company? http://andersonbasementwaterproofing.com/
Best of luck in your future inspection business.
Your ignorance precedes you.
You are runnin outta words chump!
Give it a better try on your next post… Dig deep into what little gray matter you have left…
Second thought! Save it for tomorrow morning when you have to make coffee…You need it!
Can I ask how many foundations you have waterproofed and how critical a back fill material is, Mr. Lewis.?
Please let me know, because after 40 years of building foundations, residential and commercial, and certified by Grace for foundation waterproofing, I might learn something from you.
Since I know what Mark is talking about, I guess I stand behind his posting on the matter.
If I were you, I would stand back and reap the knowledge of waterproofing from one that has already did the plowing for you.
Amen…
Just right. Mark is one of the most knowledgeable people on basement water issues around the country. A little brusk at times but I can see his points. People spending tens of thousands of dollars on worthless interior “waterproofing” systems. Roy, you haven’t been around long enough to reap the rewards of his posts and help on this message board. He used to post as “John Bubber” until Nick finally let him post as a true professional that he is. You assumed too much and did indeed make as a.s.s. of yourself. JMHO.
Mark:
You do come through as more than brusque, downright aggressive, but if that is your style, it’s OK with me. Your pictures are an excellent show about water intrusion.
That said, and since you are still a student, I don’t know whether you already heard that as HI’s we conduct “visual” inspections. In this case we could not possibly have dug anything, anywhere, to expose the underground brickwork the way you show in your pictures.
I join those who wish you well in your future work.
Mark is NOT a student. That is how Nick gives him full access to the message board without calling him a member or a vendor.
Stephen:
Thanks, I did not know that, of course. What I said still applies except for the student part.
NO, not us/your link. Am not a home inspector, loool.
And Dave, so you ‘think and assume’ I offer NO solutions huh? Really? #-o
Arnold, you said HI’s could not have dug anything. per my photo album of leaky basement.
Am not asking you guys and gals to dig sir!!
POINT is, when your observing, when you HI’s are INSPECTING other such leaky basements/poured walls as in the photo album posted, you ‘should’ know that there will be those kinds of exterior openings along, just under the grade (that’s where/why the water is entering) and ‘should’ be explaining exactly THAT to your clients/homeowners INSTEAD OF… telling them to raise and slope the grade or extend downspout extensions 8 1/2 miles away.
And some home inspectors go even further and recommend interior basement system chumps to unknowing homeowners and… some of those HI’s get $$$ from these companies, you see sir???
Here Arnold, another home inspector dropped the ball, fumblerooski…look at the FIRST 5 photos/inside basement. This is what THAT HI saw…
http://picasaweb.google.com/101049034584960315932/BasementWaterproofing72 click any individual photo to ENLARGE so my HI friends can SEE better, lol
Paint/Drylok bulllsht, mold, efflorescence, hairline crack
The HI did not need to dig… and wouldn’t anyways, right O.
BUTT, the HI SHOULD have seen and known there were existing defects/problems on the exterior of the hollow block wall
Yep, on many HI websites, they claim they thoroughly inspect foundations, basements walls, water intrusion etc. Well, if that were really true (which it obviously is NOT) then, duhhhh, THEY would have known there were exterior cracks and other exterior openings that caused the dang mold, efflorescence on inside block wall
Home inspector here told buyer there were no problems, no defects, no water intrusion shtt to worry about… really? Wrong again and need to cough up that inspection fee.
http://picasaweb.google.com/101049034584960315932/BasementWaterproofing27
Quite a few home inspectors, realtors etc etc need to keep their pie hole shut, on THIS subject. THEY… come off as all-knowing Bullwinkle sob’s when it’s very obvious they know little if anything on this-subject.
Have met quite a few arrogant, supposed tough guy HI’s who talk shtttttttttt on this subject yet some see my ugly azz as, duh rough guy, go figure
So when some HI’s incompetently mislead homeowners on what the real problem(s) is in their leaky basement and recommend bullsht like raise and slope the grade, they need to cough up that inspection fee, they screwed up, uh huh.
Alfalfa, will you swing me before we have lunch? REO/Tough Guys http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0mhLbJJ9Ao … ‘THEY (some HI’s) think they’re full of fire, she thinks they’re full of shttttt’…
No one has said they DISAGREED with this guy, former home inspector on his supposed easy 99% wet basement solutions so, you all agree with him?
Does Nachi and all HI’s agree with what he said, that 99% of all wet basements can be solved by his recommendations of grading, downspout etx’s etc… huh?
Dave, Arnold… do you agree with this former HI?
How about the visor man Louie-Lewis, huh?
Is this guy YOUR guru, the guy you peeps listen to, the one ta folla?
Don’t take all day to figure it out cuz Uncle Bubba has lots of gas this morning and may be on duh toidy bowl for hours at a time, got that? I just released a ‘test-fart’, that’s about 10% of the TOTAL fart and its’ not looking good fer Bubb;'s TAday, plz pray for me, ty.
And Mr. Paul, the one size fits all… are the INTERIOR system companies, just want to be clear, eh.
