Anyone have a graphic/illustration showing how an exterior frost free hose bib should be sloped toward the exterior?
Thanks in advance.

If you see that vacuum breaker on the top, does that mean it’s a frost free hose bib or do some ordinary hose bibs also have that vacuum breaker at the top.

Thanks Larry but I knew that. What I’m asking is…if I see a vacuum breaker on top, does that necessarily mean it’s a frost free hose bib?

Oh, I would say yes, typically, but…and someone will be along to add to the “but”…

Just got back from the big box store and I think the answer is yes, if you see a hose bib with a vacuum breaker on top then yes, it’s a frost free hose bib.

I would generically say… it depends… on what is normally stocked in supply stores in your region.
A “vacuum break” hose bibb (anti-siphon) is not the same thing as frost free.
Would you pay for a “frost free” design in Miami or San Diego? I doubt it, but it still better have the vacuum break feature.
