It’s always a part of it…winter is extreme, it can drop to -40 celcius….air conditioning is not that common but cuz of environment change, it’s going to be common. Mostly heating

Non insulated ductwork for a cooling system will likely be problematic. Good in the winter, but summer heat and uninsulated cooling ductwork is going to cause a flurry of problems due to condensation.
There will need to be adjustments made. It will be a challenge to convert these crawlspace plenums.
