Mike ,I hated it since I was a kid and view it as being PC since before that term became popular.
You might even have noticed in past threads I often spell it Chrstmass.
Just seems better.

Talk about history ,the Nazi symbol was a religious symbol too.
I thought the Nazi symbol was a perverted cross, I once heard that somewhere anyway.

Don’t feel bad.
I had to cancel an appointment last night because the 25 mile drive would have taken an estimated 4 hours.
Snow on ice and little removal of snow due to it being during rush hour.

It is an ancient Hindu symbol that was around even before Christ. It’s a symbol for good luck, health and prosperity. It is still used today so don’t be surprised if you run into this symbol (usually drawn out in various colored powders) all over a home but usually in the kitchen during or even after a Hindu home blessing.
