Just got off the phone with Nick, Thanks again. I’ve been using InspectNow and have had trouble with it since day 1 but couldn’t afford to switch after I shelled out the money for the first program.
Thanks again
Thanks to all so far that have chosen HomeGauge as their main report system preference. This decision is not as easy as …say getting a microwave tester (at least for most) so I do appreciate your decision to use HomeGauge.
Just a reminder that posting here that you want one is not good enough. You must call Nick first and get his approval before being guaranteed one. He will then email me and I am keeping track.
For those that have called in to Nick I have your email and plan to start emailing your license key tomorrow (Wednesday).
While you are waiting download the full trial version now at www.InterNACHIGauge.com
Watch the tours now to get started fast http://www.homegauge.com/inspector/support/tours4.html
Welcome!
Thanks for the update Russell.
I downloaded the trail version today and have been watching the tutorials all day. I love the product and can’t wait to get up to speed on using it.
Nick thank you for making this possible.
Michael,
Was the HG offer one of your reasons for joining NACHI today? just curious.
BTW Welcome on board!
I don’t know about you Mario but I’d definitely join for a free copy of HG!
I bet several inspectors on the fence/sidelines will be joining for there free copy of HG.
I’ve used HG for several years now. I’d recommend it to any home inspector. Russell offers good support, everyone is very nice at HG and accessible.
Way to go InterNACHI and HG.
Good luck to all the new HG users!
Just talked to Nick and I should receive my license tommorow. Thanks Nick and Russell. I will watch the tutorials tonight.:D:D:D
Thanks Nick and Russel, can’t wait.
Marcel
After reading Nicks post I contacted him. We spoke on the phone and he forwarded my information to the people at homegauge. I would like to thank Nick for his outstanding work with NACHI, it’s a wonderful organization.
If anyone needs reporting software make sure you contact Nick through the link that he left.
Russell, I downloaded the free trial version and can’t open it, all it opens is the accept agreement. Nothing else. I was able to open the tutural and that was real good. I think I could learn that.
What am I doing wrong? Is it my old system?

Some people will take the lessor product if it is free Mark.
The newbies and those working part time will always take what they can get so why should they not take the offer.
I would love to see some one do a side by side graphic of the finished product.
The easy read and fantastic bookmark index of HIP,not to mention the fast load and quick template edit along side of the border font control have no comparison.
Funny thing is HIP is half priced all the time.
My guess is that the extra monthly fees HG users generate will more than make up for the free deal.
Gun free////Bullets $5,000
Both HIP and HG are great software packages.
—HG is a good deal at $1,000.
------HG is a great deal at free.
----------and the HG OPTIONAL gold package is an outright steal at $30/month.
Don’t take my word for it… ask any HG user.
Some will suggest that there is some “catch.” Look for a catch all you like, there isn’t one.
In one day, we gave out $100,000.00 worth of, arguably, our industry’s most popular software, at no cost to InterNACHI members.
Hard to complain about that.
Marcel,
What operating system are you using?
From: http://www.internachigauge.com/
InterNACHIGauge runs on Pocket PCs and Touchscreen Phones with Windows Mobile 5 or 6, as well as desktops, laptops and tablet PCs running Windows XP or Vista.
You are absolutely right Nick. I think Bob is sorry he made a mistake in his choice of software. Right Bob.:p:p:p:p:p:p
Bob, when you buy a shoe or a boot, don’t you like to try it before you buy them?
Before one invest in $1000 of software I would want to know if it suits my needs.
Now some are part-time inspectors like me and some are newbies as you call them.
We both have a right to accept something that is free or pay for them.
In my choice, it was offered and I took it, but does not necessarily decide which one I will use.
Improvising is my repertoire, and I can make due without all the glorious sophisticated stuff out there, but when offered, and it saves me time and effort, I will be the first one to oblige and I think I speak for all the newcomers also.
The decision to make an offer such as this is solely the makings of the Administrator of this Association and nobody else.
Thanks
Marcel :)![]()
Another happy HIP user here.
Thanks Dominic.
Me too!
You are absolutely right MC. Don’t forget some full timers here are actually part-timers. Enjoy your new software and don’t let the naysayers get to you.![]()
Both are very good packages. No one is right or wrong for picking one over the other.
