I just bought $100,000.00 worth of HG software for you guys who need it.

Agreed Nick!!

I’m a HG user, however I also support HIP. I purchased Dominic’s software and I have never used it. Dominic deserves our support as does Russell, both are great supporters of NACHI and both have a great product.

Well, that explains it, I am still on 2000 Professional. ha. ha.

Marcel :)

Thanks Nicks! I appreciate it and Thanks to Russell!!
I can’t wait to use it. I’ve been checking out the tutorials. A lot better than 3D! 10 times better!

Just think, 200 inspectors could have benefited instead of only 100.

Guess I wonder why you put up $$$ to give away HG rather than HIP which would have been less costly for the association to purchase and lets face the fact that Dom does so much for NACHI.

It must feel like a slap in the face to the guy.

Things are not always as they appear Bob.

Ditto. What a disgrace. -(

Again…Dom is marketing his product to ASHI and is preparing a template for ASTM SOP use for commercial inspections. Both of these facts make him a “disloyal” vendor and worthy of this action.

His focus is upon the development of a product that benefits the industry…not the NACHI exclusivity agenda.

On the other side of the coin is the vendor who has been rejected by ASHI due to his close proximity to NACHI, and his agreement to limit his template to Nick’s personal SOP for commercial inspections (COMSOP) and to restrict its accommodation to ASTM.

Still, folks…it has been over 24-hours and 100 of these programs could not even be given away.

Meanwhile, persons from all associations continue to purchase Dom’s.

What does that tell you?

Dom is doing well.

JB, Not sure what all the hard feelings are about giving NACHI members a “deal” on HG. I’m looking down now at the most recent copy of the *ASHI Reporter *and HG has a full page ad on the back cover. I looked at a lot of the ASHI member’s websites and I saw a lot of sample reports using HG. I would say inspectors from all associations are buying HG too.

“What does that tell you?” Tells me both are good programs.

JB
You gotta be kidding ,as I doubt if DOM is on other associations boards training them how to take over and flood the internet with their sites.

NACHI Inspectors practically rule the web with all the great SEO info that comes from the owner of HIP.

Just take a look at all the sites in the top ten and which associations members own them.
NACHI is a internet presence and the members are too thanks in no small part to DOM.

People like myself are greatfull as I for one derive much of my business through that method by making a decision not to step foot in RE offices to market.
No hat in hand for me.

The great web presence and look of my reports is all I need to win over my clients.

No, No, go back… turn away from the light!!! Don’t look directly into the light!! Save yourselves.

With Dom and HIP all upgrades are free, new licenses are free, support is free, new versions are free. No Gold monthly payments. No Silver monthly payments. No hidden costs. HIP is Platinum and you don’t pay extra for it!

Look away, look away!

ASHI rejected HomeGauge? Ill have to check this months issue but they usually have the back of ASHI Reporter covered…

Sorry to burst your bubble Bob but Dom is on the ASHI forum. Promotes HIP and helps the ASHI members too.

Just posted this on the other HG thread I just bought $100,000.00 worth of HG software for you guys who need it. - InterNACHI®️ Forum

I have posted on their forum and a few others, and tried to help out but their forum is pretty dead. They only get 20 posts or so a day so I don’t help out as much as I do here (larger audience and you guys are great to me in return).

Its fishing,… also called a “loss leader” in retail,… give away the basic (goods or plan) to hook you into a monthly charge.

Ohhh you want to be able to do “that” well you have to upgrade $$$

For a $100K Dom probably would have hooked up ALL members of NACHI not just 100.

Your right, not many posts there. The “action” is here;-)

I am not.

Dom offers an excellent product that will help home inspectors no matter what association(s) they may belong to and I personally can attest to the extent he will go to see to the success of all of his clients.

He would be foolish to limit his services to members of just one association. I might remind you that, before it went under, InspectVue was marketing to all other associations as well until NAHI refused to allow them a booth at their convention since one of their salesmen held an office with NACHI and felt that he might be selling more than just his product at their convention.

ASHI inspectors who have been and who are wise enough to invest in Dom’s product will benefit just as greatly for the competition for members is between associations…not between inspectors or intelligent vendors.

In case you are not aware, NACHI is notorious among vendors for how little its members are willing to actually pay for products and education. Outside of NACHI, however, there are inspectors who are paying for materials and training and are rewarding the good vendors with their business.

Why should Dom not benefit from that business as well?

Dom don’t you ever feel sorry about trying to expand your business. Marketing and getting exposure in every and all places you have a potential audience you can sell your product to is GOOD BUSINESS.
