It was a concrete roof. I wear Cougar Paws.
They worked great on this one, but I had to shimmy up the chimney because my ladder wouldn’t reach.
Looks like a boot made specifically for walking on a roof and nothing else. Is that what you do, take them off for walking in general? Looks like that sole foam would wear off quickly.
I use them just for roof walking. The soles are replaceable and attached with Velcro.
They are made just for roofs.
They due wear fast but foam bottoms are replaceable.
I use them all the time on higher pitched roofs and take them off after I get off the ladder, to me they are just a tool like anything else that is specific to a job.
