I’ve never seen this flooring insulation. What type of batt insulation is this? Each batt is wrapped in grey plastic with micro holes in it. I didn’t think to look at the other side. I know, dumb.
Owens Corning made something similar called Miraflex. It was made to be itch-less and easy to handle. The holes are so that the plastic wrap does to became a vapor barrier.
I see what looks like a JM (Johns Manville) on the bottom of one. It may be something like this:

I didn’t pay it enough attention, then when I got home, I was wondering if it was a new type of installation installed upside down. I’d definitely rather ask than get that call later. Thanks. I will check into this.
