Mike,

I am a little late, just saw this thread.

Congratulations. Twins are twice the fun, and soon you'll have half the hair you have now.

Best Wishes!!

Mike,

A double take, huh? I congratulate both you and your wife.
You're going to get snipped? OOuuch. That sounds excruciating.
After my daughter was born by caesarean section, my wife had her tubes tied. It was much easier that way. She was already under the knife, so we figured that while they were already there, get the scissors.
I have two very healthy kids (Thank God). A handsome 3 year old son and a beautiful nine month old daughter, and they mean the world to me. You, having two at the same time is going to make you the happiest dad ever. Start stocking up on diapers and formula now. You'll regret it later when your wife has you stopping at the store every week.

I wish you all the luck in the world on your duo.![](upload://hWSXcmduwTxsg9ugBLJs0JiEUYK.gif)

Mike,

Congratulations to you and your wife!

My advice is diapers, diapers and some more diapers. If someone asks what they can get for the babies, you tell them diapers. They will get plenty of clothes and toys, but there are never enough diapers.

I have a 2-1/2 year old son. I am astounded by the quantity of diapers he has gone through in only 29 months.

Michael, I heard that you can do this procedure at home.

1 maybe 2 cases of beer, drink fast,… no faster

1 empty can

1 M-80 or larger depending on size…of can

Hold can between legs

Light M-80

Place in can.

But no one has ever said how long recovery is?

Check with your local physician.

Good luck

In the book TWINS they say each baby will go through about 10 diapers a day. Now unless I forgot how to add that’s 600 diapers a month.( I don’t do anything 600 times a month) it’s hard to picture changing diapers 600 times let alone 600 times a month. If it takes 10 min. to change a diaper that’s 100hr a month(oh well I don’t sleep that much anyway) icon_eek.gif

Ok I guess I need to step up the marketing campaign to pay for a nanny.

It will also amaze you how much a diaper can hold and weigh. I’ve changed some that I swear weighed more than my son.

We had two in diapers at the same time. You will be amazed at how quickly you can change a diaper (and where too). I think we had it down to about 2 min.

Just make sure you get a good sealing diaper pail. UUUGGGHHHHH those things can ripen. ![icon_eek.gif](upload://yuxgmvDDEGIQPAyP9sRnK0D0CCY.gif)

I saw the diaper gene at babies’R’us that seemed cool. We have 5 ferrets and they poop every 30 seconds or so it seems, At least that only has to be cleaned once a day.

I hope you’re not too attached to those ferrets.

I’ve got a stepchild. Really excited about having a baby though.

It never amazes me where you may get work. I got one yesterday walking out of the pizza joint.

Hey Mike, keep breakin’ everything down to man-hours and you’ll scare yourself to DEATH.

10 diapers a day / per kiddo...about right

Now add in feedings, burpings, and bathings and you've just about booked-up week 1. ![icon_biggrin.gif](upload://iKNGSw3qcRIEmXySa8gItY6Gczg.gif)

Hope you have some family help, you'll need it. Search "twins" or "multiples" on the net for some great message boards.

I'm a proud Daddy of 3 delightful 3 year olds, and I can promise you that your life is about to get very entertaining. Your clients will get to hear you say things like, " I'm sorry, can I call you back in just a minute? 3 naked babies just ran past the door and one of them has a hammer."

Yep, I'm pretty sure that the realtors office gives me charity bizness, just for the laughs.

Hang On,
Ronster

Now lets see. Assuming at least one BM a day time 2. That is 60 per month if you get the minimum. I am willing to bet that you will easily double that figure for a grand total of 120 per month, on the lucky months.

That is a lot of SH**, monthly speaking! ![icon_biggrin.gif](upload://iKNGSw3qcRIEmXySa8gItY6Gczg.gif)

We have a great support team in place, my wife’s mom and sister are coming up for the summer to help out as soon as they are out of school (English teachers).

My son (still in the oven) gave us a peace symbol during the last ultrasound he is already a wild child while his sister was very mellow. It was fun to watch.
