Hi Keith…I really enjoy your stories. Years ago when signs were hand painted (instead of using the computer) I made much more money. Then the sign franchises came along and all of us old time sign painters had to lower our prices. Well this got me mad and made me not enjoy my work as much. So I raised my prices and didn’t play the game of how low can you go. You don’t really want that type of customer anyway…so now I am happy again. I am certainly not overpriced. But I believe we all deserve to make what we feel is worth our time and enjoy what we do.
